Lucone di Polpenazze

The archaeological site of Polpenazze del Garda (BS) Lucone is situated in a morainic basin in northern Italy. It is the site of several prehistoric settlements, which have been documented since archaeological excavations began in 2007. The Early Bronze Age settlement was active from ca. 2034 BCE until 1967 BCE. The site is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps".
