Tell el-'Oueili

Tell el-'Oueili is an archaeological site located in the Dhi Qar Governorate of southern Iraq. Occupation at the site predates the occupation levels of Eridu, making Tell el-'Oueili one of the earliest known human settlements of southern Mesopotamia.
