Selinus

The so-called "Temple D" at Selinus dates ca. 540 BCE. It is a Doric-order temple dedicated to Athena. Its peristylar plan (56 by 24 meters ) has a columnar arrangement of 6 x 13 (order height of 7.51 m high). The building has a pronaos in antis.
