Tell Esur

archaeological site · 2000 BC – 1291 AD

Tell in the northern Sharon Plain and one of the main protohistoric settlements in the northern Sharon Plain and Samaria. The tell is surrounded by the springs of 'En Esur. Archaeological remains have been found at this site from the Middle and Late Bronze Age, Iron Age, as well as the Byzantine and Ottoman Periods.
