Kundu/Kyinda

Kundu is mentioned in Akkadian royal inscriptions of the seventh-century-BC Assyrian king Esarhaddon. In Classical times, Strabo describes Kyinda as a fortress where Macedonian kings deposited treasure. Eumenes reportedly captured the treasure when he revolted against Antigonus. The site is now unlocated.
