Cunetio

Cunetio was a Roman town located on the River Kennet adjacent to the modern town of Mildenhall, Wiltshire. It was occupied from the second century to the early fifth century A.D. Its fortification wall seems to have been built in late third to earth fourth century. The archaeological site was first identified in 1940 via aerial photography.
