Rocca di Cerere

The Rocca di Cerere (Rock of Ceres) is a rocky outcrop located in the city of Enna, Sicily. It was used as a fortified acropolis in antiquity. Roman soldiers are reported to have sacked the temple atop the rocca in 173 BCE.
