Maloitas (river)

The Maloitas river, mentioned by Pausanias and placed by him near Methydrion in the Peloponnese, was identified by F. Bölte in RE with a small, intermittent tributary of the modern Trogas river that lies between Methydrion and modern Pyrgaki, which is located in the modern Greek municipal unit of Vytina (Arcadia regional unit).
