Methone/Mothone (Messenian)

An ancient settlement situated on the west coast of the Messenian peninsula of the Peloponnese. The collocated modern settlement is called Methoni and is located in the administrative part of the Pylos-Nestoras municipality, Messenia regional unit, of the modern Greek state.
