Thoknia

An ancient settlement of Arcadia mentioned by Pausanias and catalogued by Stephanus of Byzantium. Long identified with ancient remains in the vicinity of modern Thoknia (previously Bromosellas/Vromosellas), but those remains seem largely to have disappeared in the course of extensive modern lignite mining in the vicinity.
