Brauron/sanctuary of Artemis Brauronia

Brauron was a sacred site in Attica dedicated to Artemis Brauronia. The sanctuary was active from the Middle Bronze Age period, although a gap in activity stretches from the Final Bronze Age to the eighth century B.C.
