Temple of Poseidon at Isthmia

The Poseidon sanctuary at Isthmia lies 16 km to the east of Corinth. The initial phase belongs to the seventh century BC, although the sanctuary was destroyed ca. 470 BC and rebuilt in 440 B.C.
