Church of the Archangels at Sige

Church in the village of Sige (modern Kumyaka) on the southern shore of the Sea of Marmara. Constructed under Constantine VI in 780, the structure was restored twice, in 1448 and 1819. It remained in continuous use until it was ultimately abandoned in 1922.
