Sepulcra Salaria

The area known as "Sepulcra Salaria" corresponds to the current-day Piazza Fiume, a public square adjacent to the intersection of the Corso d'Italia and Via Piave. Beginning in the later republican period, this funereal area developed. A range of tomb typologies has been identified here.
