Santa Maria in Legarano

Site of a large Roman villa, the remains of which were incorporated into the church of Santa Maria in Legarano. The early phases of the villa likely date to the early imperial period. At some point the villa became an Imperial property as it was donated to Pope Sylvester by Constantine.
