Dasht-e Nawar

Dasht-e Nawar is a settlement site beginning in prehistoric times on the shores of the lake of the same name. Based on epigraphic evidence, the Archaeological Gazetteer of Afghanistan (1982) classifies it as Kushan, second-third century AD.
