Kurunegala

A city of Sri Lanka where significant numbers of imported coins have been found, including Roman (reigns of Vespasian and Nero) and Chinese (Song and Southern Song dynasties). A Brahmi inscription from Kaduruvava in the Kurunegala district mentions a trade corporation of "Kambojas", an ancient people of Arachosia (i.e., the area of Kandahar in Afghanistan), possibly to be identified with Ptolemy's Tambyzoi, q.v..
