Molyvoti/Stryme?

Stryme was colonized by Greeks from the island of Thasos in the Archaic period, but by at least the 4th century BCE it appears to have fallen under the political and economic power of Maroneia. Stryme is probably to be identified with an archaeological site on the Molyvoti peninsula, where recent investigation by the Molyvoti, Thrace, Archaeological Project has demonstrated that the settlement was destroyed in the mid-fourth century and briefly reoccupied ca. 325 BCE before abandonment in the early 3rd century. In the Late Roman and Byzantine periods, there were small farmsteads on the peninsula and a settlement on the headland.
