Bou Khenndak Copper Mines

These mines, evidently actively worked in the 19th century and early 20th century but not in more recent times, are mentioned in AAA in passing (without any clear assertion of ancient evidence of exploitation) alongside discussion of some meager Roman remains at Merachiche, 3.5km to the northwest. They are conflated with the former in a single mine/quarry symbol in BAtlas.
