Murus Romuli

"Murus Romuli" refers to a fortification wall alleged to have surrounded the Palatine Hill in Rome, Italy. Legendary tradition claims it was built by the founder-hero Romulus during the eighth century BCE. The historicity of the wall remains hotly debated.
