Larisa Fortress (Argolid)

An ancient fortified acropolis of Argos, located on the hill named Larisa, which is located to the northwest of the town. The site is now occupied by a Venetian castle that incorporates or covers architectural and archaeological remains dating from the Mycenaean period through the 19th century.
