Tarxien (Malta)

A megalithic temple complex that was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. This temple dates to the later Neolithic period on Malta and remained in use for several millennia. The first usage of the site occurs ca. 4100 BC and the temple complex develops across the fourth millennium.
