Pulvar/Araxes? (river)

The modern Pulvar/Sivand river in Iran is a tributary of the Kor river and flows near the site of Pasargadae and through the archaeologically significant Bolaghi Gorge. As such, it is possibly to be identified as the eastern upper course of the ancient Araxes.
