Mound site in Amasya province, Turkey. First inhabited in the Early Bronze Age (ca. 4500 BCE), the site was abandoned sometime during the Hittite Period (15th-13th centuries BCE). It was briefly resettled during the Iron Age-Hellenistic period (8th-1st centuries BCE).
