Kafr Aqareb

An ancient place, located in modern Syria, with remains of Roman praetorium, a temple and grottoes for pagan worship, a Byzantine basilica, and a large communal reservoir. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 as part of the "Ancient Villages of Northern Syria."
