Santa Sabina

A Christian basilica on the Aventine Hill in Rome was founded in the fourth century A.D. The church takes its name from a Christian martyr who was said to have lived on the Aventine. The church is the oldest extant Roman basilica structure that preserves its original plan in the city of Rome.
