Tawern Roman temple complex

sanctuary · 30 BC – 640 AD

This reconstructed (in-situ) temple complex stands on a hill called Metzenberg, just to the southwest of modern Tawern in Germany. A partially excavated Gallo-Roman vicus lies at the foot of the hill, closer to town.
