Harbor at Lechaion

The ancient harbor of Lechaion on the eastern side of the Gulf of Corinth. Historical sources place the founding of Lechaion in the 7th century BCE, but geoarchaeological evidence attests to protohistoric industrial use of the site as early as the 12th century BCE.
