Apamea/Kelainai/Kibotos

Apamea/Kelainai/Kibotos (modern Dinar) was an ancient settlement of Phrygia located at a road junction linking Ionia to the east. In 333 BCE, Alexander the Great installed his general Antigonos as satrap of Phrygia.
