Sha'ar Hagolan

A Neolithic settlement of the Yarmukian culture, located on the northwestern bank of the Yarmuk River approximately 1.5 km south of the Sea of Galilee. At 20 hectares, it is one of the largest known Neolithic settlements in the Near East.
