Tubusuctu

An ancient settlement located in the modern Soummam river valley at a place called Tiklat, which is near modern El Kseur in Algeria's Kabylia province. Here the Roman emperor Augustus established a veteran colony. Bishops of Tubusuctu are attested in the fifth century CE.
