Köşk Höyük

Köşk Höyük is a limestone outcropping that was a site of human settlement that was terraced for that purpose in the neolithic period. The most recent layers date to the early Chalcolithic period (ca. 5000-4750 BCE), while earlier layers are Neolithic and date ca. 6300-5600 BCE.
