Tabālu (province)

In 713 BC, Tabal (together with the reigion Bit-Purutaš) was conquered by the Assyrian king Sargon II (r. 721-705 BC) and established as an Assyrian province. However, by 711 BC, Assyria lost control over the region of Tabālu.
