After selling his dairy, John & Mary lived at corner of Oak Grove Ave and Laurel St. About 1890 they built a house on the San Francisquito Creek as a wedding present for their son, John Jarvis (aka Jeff) Murray and his fiancee Cathrine “Kate” Phelan.
