Iomanes/Iobares (river)

A major river of the Indian subcontinent, the Yamuna is the second-largest tributary river of the Ganges and the longest tributary in India. The river flows from the Yamunotri Glacier and travels a total length of 1,376 km (855 mi). It drains some 366,223 square km.
